Imagine my surprise when I came across some wild Lettuces in the garden!

To be honest, I didn’t even know Lettuces grow in the wild! :O

One fact I know though, is the use of Dandelion leaves in Dandelion salad. Apparently it is delicious! (^-^)

Here is a recipe I found on allrecipes.com.

Dandelion Salad

Recipe Yield 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound torn dandelion greens
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss together dandelion greens, red onion, and tomatoes. Season with basil, salt, and pepper.

Not recommended for anyone who owns a dog!! :O

I-Mei Milk Biscuit

I-Mei is one of the most well known confectionary companies in Taiwan. The company was founded in 1934, and specializes in many traditional Taiwanese food products.

I came across I-Mei milk biscuit by chance, while shopping in T-Mart (Taiwanese supermarket).

Since its discovery, it has quickly become the family’s favourite biscuit.

Taste: 5/5

The biscuits come in thin slices, which are very crunchy, full of flavours, and smells absolutely divine.

For me, words cannot express how delicious these milk biscuits are. Therefore, the best way to find out just how good they are, is to try some yourself (^-^)

Cost: 4.5/5

One box contains 6 packets, each packet contains 5 biscuits. The price is between NZ$2.20 – $3 per box.

Availability: 5/5

The biscuits can be bought from most, if not all, Asian grocery stores.

Overall Mark: 4.8/5

Comment: Definitely highly recommended!! :)
