Chocolate Pretzels.

This is The Simpsons Collectors’ Mug gift set, which comes with a small pack of chocolate coated pretzels. It is a Christmas present I had bought for myself. (^-^)

Taste: 3/5

The chocolate pretzels tastes as expected. Simply an average tasting coat of chocolate over the slightly salted pretzel. Moreover the pretzels tasted stale, and not as crunchy as they should be. Maybe the pretzels have absorbed some moisture from the chocolate coating? There were no silica sachets in the plastic bag, which cotained the chocolate pretzels. Maybe adding in some silica sachets would have helped to maintain the pretzel’s crunchy texture.

Cost: 3.5/5

The complete set contains a mug and a packet of 10 chocolate coated pretzels.
I bought the set from The Warehouse. It was originally priced at NZ$12.99, but I bought it at half price (NZ$6.50) during Boxing day sale.

Availability: 1/5

Unfortunately, for anyone who may be interested, the set was only shelved at The Warehouse for the gifting season. However, I wouldn’t entirely rule out the possibility of the set being available in other stores.

Overall mark: 2.5/5

Comment: Please take it in mind the review was mainly on the chocolate pretzels. I had essentially bought the set for the mug. If the review had been on BOTH the mug and the chocolate pretzels, the overall mark would have been higher.
